Alexandra Teixeira Riggs

Alexandra Teixeira Riggs has a diverse work experience in the field of digital media and user experience. Alexandra is currently a Digital Media PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Fantasy as a User Experience Lead from November 2019, and before that, as a Senior UX Designer from April 2018 to November 2019. Alexandra also worked at Code and Theory as a UX Designer from October 2015 to March 2018 and as an Associate UX Designer from June 2014 to August 2014.

Alexandra Teixeira Riggs has a strong educational background in the field of digital media. Alexandra pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Digital Media from the Georgia Institute of Technology starting in 2021. Prior to this, Alexandra obtained their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Digital Arts New Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.

Before their graduate studies, Alexandra completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fine Arts and Information Science at Cornell University, having attended the institution from 2009 to 2013.

Alongside their formal education, Alexandra also obtained a certification in Facilitating Design Thinking from Cooper in December 2019.
