Chris Merton

Chris Merton is the owner of Black River Roasters, a socially responsible artisan-coffee roasting company specializing in organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance certified coffees. In addition to entrepreneurial pursuits, Chris serves as a trustee at Far Hills Country Day School and was a board member at Jacobus Vanderveer House from 2008 to 2013, contributing to the preservation of local history. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Vermont and a degree in Human Resources from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Educational background also includes attendance at St. George's School and Far Hills CDS.
