Chelsea Karthauser

Chelsea Karthauser is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in geographic information systems and cartography. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Analyst at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. since June 2018, Chelsea previously held the position of Cartographer/Photogrammetrist II at the Nevada Department of Transportation. Additional roles include Naturalist Science Guide at Gastineau Guiding Company and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Montana, where Chelsea taught various geography courses. Early career experiences include GIS Research Technician at Southeast Alaska Spatial Ecosystem Lab and instructional roles within the Juneau City School District. Chelsea holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Montana, along with a Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. A Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies was earned at the University of Alaska Southeast.
