Jeremy McFarland is an experienced archaeologist currently serving at the Desert Research Institute since May 2023 and as a field archaeologist with Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. since January 2022. In addition, Jeremy holds the position of Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, where coursework is being pursued for a Doctor of Philosophy in Archaeology, expected to be completed in May 2025. Previous roles include Archaeology Crew Lead at The Great Basin Institute and various research positions at Humboldt State University, including Research Associate, Research Diver, and Research Intern. Additional experience includes working as an Archaeological Technician with the U.S. Forest Service and multiple hatchery technician roles at TwoXSea. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology from Humboldt State University.
