Stephanie Shumsky

Stephanie Shumsky currently serves as Manager of ESG, Biodiversity, Climate Risk and Disclosure at FCC since July 2024, leading the creation and monitoring of ESG targets and the development of a sustainable finance framework. Previously, Shumsky held roles at FinDev Canada from August 2020 to August 2024, notably as Lead Officer overseeing environmental and social risk management in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Other experience includes positions as Technical Manager for Pact, ESG Consultant for Pan African Resources, Superintendent of Community Development at CMOC, and Project Manager at Resolute Forest Products, where sustainability reporting was a key focus. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Environmental Studies from Brandeis University.
