Shameek Chakravarty

Shameek Chakravarty has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2008, they were the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Ohana Media, an online advertising startup. In 2010, they founded the Hyderabad chapter of The Startup Leadership Program. In 2011, they were a Board of Advisors for Wishberg - One Wishlist for Life!, which was acquired by FreeCharge in 2014. In 2012, they were the Head of Products at Lexity Labs, which was acquired by Yahoo in 2013. At Yahoo, they were the Director of Product Management, Small Business Platform, where they built products to help small businesses succeed. In 2015, they were an Investor/Advisor for both Artinem and Piki Poll. In 2017, they were the Founder & CEO of Farmizen, a source traceable farm-to-fork marketplace. Finally, in 2022, they were a Product Management Consultant for Continuous Technologies.

Shameek Chakravarty's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian School of Business in 2006, with a focus in Marketing and General Management. Shameek also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which they obtained in 2001 with a focus in Computer Science. Shameek's educational journey began at Calcutta Boys School, where they attended from 1984 to 1997.
