Antonios Cheras

Antonios Cheras has over 20 years of work experience in various technology roles. Antonios began their career as a Freelance Software Developer during their military service period, where they designed and implemented applications for government authorities. After that, they worked at LogiKal Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer and ERP Consultant, leading a team and providing consulting services for ORAMA ERP. Following this, Antonios joined ARGOS S.A. as an IT Manager responsible for the Applications & Data Department, where they managed a team and engineered technological solutions. Antonios then worked at Freelance again, this time as a Freelance Technical Architect, Database Engineer, and IT Consultant, catering to client needs by designing and engineering applications and databases. Antonios later joined Tech Mahindra as a Technical Architect and Database Architect/Engineer, designing software solutions and databases. Prior to their current position, they were at Aegon as a Lead Programmer-Analyst, where they led the Custom Apps Corporate Center value stream and engineered application and data cloud solutions. Currently, Antonios is employed at FarmTrace as a Cloud Data Architect.

Antonios Cheras completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical Engineering & Computer Software Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) from 1990 to 1996.

Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In September 2013, Antonios obtained the MCSA: SQL Server 2012 certification from Microsoft. Antonios also achieved the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications in Administering SQL Server 2012, Implementing a Data Warehouse with SQL Server 2012, and Querying SQL Server 2012 in the months of September 2013 and June and July 2013, respectively. Furthermore, they obtained the Exam 535: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions certification from Microsoft in November 2018. In February 2018, Antonios achieved the AWS Solution Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. Finally, in February 2022, they obtained The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified certification from The Open Group.
