Sjoerd van Poelgeest

Sjoerd van Poelgeest has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sjoerd currently works for FarmTrace as an Engineering Manager, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to that, they were at Fox-IT where they held various positions. From January 2021 to April 2022, they served as Head of Engineering. Before that, from February 2017 to January 2021, they were a Software Development Team Lead. In this role, they managed a team of 16 software developers, infra engineers, and Linux system engineers. Additionally, they coached emerging talents from these teams and played a role in determining the engineering policies and vision alongside the Head of Engineering. Sjoerd also held the positions of Manager Trainees from January 2019 to August 2020, Product Owner from November 2019 to April 2020, and Software Developer from March 2016 to February 2017. Prior to their time at Fox-IT, Sjoerd worked at Blomsma Groep as a Software Developer/Management Assistant from September 2013 to February 2016, and as a Planner from April 2010 to September 2013. Sjoerd'searliest known work experience was at ADC Reproservice BV, where they served as an Order Coordinator/Front-office Coordinator from February 2003 to March 2010.

Sjoerd van Poelgeest pursued their education chronologically, starting with their secondary education at Elzendaal College from 1994 to 2000. Sjoerd obtained their VWO degree during this period.

Following their secondary education, Sjoerd van Poelgeest enrolled at Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch and earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Retail, which they completed from 2000 to 2003.
