J. Andrew Black

J. Andrew Black currently serves as a Board Member for the Greater Houston Port Bureau since November 2023. Black has held the position of President at Moran Shipping Agencies since 2005 and has been Of Counsel at Farrell Smith O'Connell since 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Bruce Selya at the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit from May to August 2017. J. Andrew Black earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Boston University School of Law between 2016 and 2019, and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics from the University of Connecticut and Philosophy from Wesleyan University. Education also includes St. Pius X High School.
