Alicia Tan

Alicia Tan is a Senior Associate at Farrer & Co, specializing in Contentious Trusts and Estates since July 2019, providing counsel on domestic and international probate matters, including capacity issues, claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, and complex inheritance tax cases. Prior to this role, Alicia worked as an Associate at Slaughter and May from September 2015 to June 2019, where expertise included tax disputes and advising high-net-worth individuals. Alicia's career began with a Trainee Solicitor position, where work involved advising large corporates on various tax issues. Alicia's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Cambridge, complemented by legal training at BPP Law School, as well as foundational studies at Raffles Institution and Raffles Girls' School.
