Emmeline Downer

Prior to joining Farrer & Co, Emmeline studied at King’s College London and attained a first class honours in Classics. After graduating, she completed the PGCE and qualified as a mathematics teacher. As a qualified teacher, Emmeline worked in two top performing state schools within two multi-academy trusts in central London and worked as Head of Key Stage 3 Mathematics before embarking on her legal career. She studied the GDL at BPP Law School and the LPC at the University of Law, achieving a distinction in both.
