Gary Martellino has a diverse work experience in engineering and software development roles. Gary started their career at The Wildcat Group, Inc. as a Web Developer, where they worked on various web projects and developed a support ticket system and an ROI calculator web application. Gary then joined My Local Web Guy as the Owner and Lead PHP Developer, providing website development, consulting, and optimization services.

In 2007, Gary became a Web Application Developer at Aerial Dynamics Corporation, where they led the development of database-driven web applications for an intermodal transportation business. Gary also worked on an internal project related to logistics.

In 2009, Gary joined Little Hammer Studios as the Lead Web Developer, taking the lead in web development projects. After that, they worked as a Web Developer at Disney ABC Television Group, responsible for the maintenance, bug fixing, and feature development of ABC and ABC Family websites. Gary also contributed to the development of ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas and created new features for the platform.

In 2012, Gary worked as a Sr. Web Developer at Toi, where they were involved in web development projects. Gary then joined Disney Parks & Resorts Digital as a Senior Software Engineer, serving as the technical lead for the ticketing eCommerce team. Gary was responsible for the development of the ticket sales page for Shanghai Disney Resort, including the sale of date-based tickets and integration with strategic partners.

At Automation Anywhere, Gary held two roles. First, as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, they worked on the front-end development of IQ Bot, an intelligent document extraction platform. Gary transitioned the IQ Bot functionality from a thick client to the web, achieving feature parity and enabling cloud adoption. Later, they became a Lead Software Engineer, where they continued to contribute to the front-end development and played a role in onboarding new team members.

Most recently, Gary worked at FASHIONPHILE, initially as an Engineering Manager and then as the Director of Engineering. In their role as Director of Engineering, they successfully launched new React front-end apps for shop and checkout, led hypercare team efforts to stabilize the site post-launch, and managed the team through leadership changes and restructuring.

Throughout their career, Gary has exhibited strong technical skills in web development, database-driven applications, and front-end development using technologies like React and Redux. Gary has also demonstrated leadership abilities through roles as a technical lead and manager.

Gary Martellino earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from California State University, Northridge from 2006 to 2009. Before attending university, they graduated from Valencia High and did not receive a degree or specialize in any field of study there. Additionally, Gary Martellino obtained the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2017.
