Vaclav Vasicek

Vaclav Vasicek has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Vaclav is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at FAST ČR, a.s. In this role, they are responsible for creating the IT strategy and overseeing various projects such as e-commerce, ERP transformation, and the establishment of IT demand and strategic portfolio management. Prior to this, Vaclav held multiple roles at Asahi Europe & International, including Head of Application Delivery & Support and Lead Enterprise Architect. At Hilti, they worked as an Enterprise Architect, leading the architecture of the S/4HANA ERP conversion and surrounding SAP systems. Vaclav also served as the Owner of Clever Services GmbH and worked as an Entrepreneur in the field of web applications and programming. Vaclav started their career with an internship as an Analyst & Programmer at Logica.

Vaclav Vasicek holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics and a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technologies, both from Prague University of Economics and Business. Vaclav has additional certifications including TOGAF 9 Certified and Application Development for SAP Business ByDesign. Vaclav is also a state-approved interpreter and translator in German-Czech.
