Dr. Manzoor Khalidi

Professor And Head Of Department at FAST National University

Dr. Manzoor Khalidi has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Dr. Manzoor is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor at Barrett Hodgson University since November 2018. In this role, they are focused on developing the university into a globally competitive institution of higher education.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Khalidi held the position of Dean Faculty of Management Science and Professor at Barrett Hodgson University, Karachi, starting from September 2016. Before that, they worked as a Professor and Head of Department at the FAST School of Management, Karachi, starting from September 2011.

Dr. Khalidi also served as the Dean of Management Science at the PAF Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology from September 2006 to August 2011. Dr. Manzoor began their career in academia as a Faculty Member at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, from January 2001 to March 2006.

Dr. Khalidi's work experience also includes a research role as a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton from 1991 to 1994. Dr. Manzoor has also worked as a Financial Analyst at Habib Bank Limited from 1987 to 1990, and at Pak Lybia Holding Co. (Pvt) Ltd. from 1986 to 1987.

Dr. Manzoor Khalidi has a strong educational background in various disciplines. Dr. Manzoor completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Markets Regulations from the University of Southampton in 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in International Banking from the same university during the period of 1990 to 1991. In 1986, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. Dr. Khalidi's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology in 1984.
