Marcio Bunte de Carvalho

Marcio Bunte de Carvalho has over 40 years of work experience. Marcio began their career in 1980 as a Professor at the Computer Science Department at UFMG, where they also served as the Director of LCC - Scientific Computing Laboratory and the Director Information Technology. In 2000, they took on the role of Executive Secretary - Steering Committee for the National Research Network Planning at RNP. In 2015, they co-founded both Fastdezine, Inc. and Web2ez, LLC. and in 2017 they became the Treasurer of Nova Atmosphera.

Marcio Bunte de Carvalho has a long and varied educational history. Marcio obtained a 2o grau from Colegio Loyola in the years 1973-1975. Marcio then earned an Engenheiro from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in the years 1976-1980, followed by a M Sc in Computer Science from the same institution in 1980-1983. After this, they earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley in 1983-1989. In 2016, they completed an Executive Education, Innovation & Entrepreneurship program at Stanford University. In 2017, they completed a Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at the University of California, Berkeley and a POS - Partnership with Social Organizations program in Management at Fundação Dom Cabral. Additionally, they have a Certificado de Participação - ApexBrasil 25 Anos from Even3, obtained in December 2022.
