Jake Champion

Jake Champion has diverse work experience in the field of web development and engineering. Jake currently holds the position of Staff Engineer at Fastly since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Financial Times from June 2021 to April 2022, where they served as a Principal Engineer. Jake also held the role of Senior Developer at Financial Times from August 2016 to June 2021 and worked as a Web Developer from May 2015 to August 2016. Before joining Financial Times, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer at BBC News from December 2014 to April 2015. Jake started their career as a Junior Web Developer at BBC from July 2013 to August 2014.

Jake Champion attended Burford Sixth Form from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained their A levels in Physics, Mathematics, and Computing. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Plymouth, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Web Applications Development from 2011 to 2015.
