Yariv Keinan

Yariv Keinan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Yariv is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Fastly since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from November 2019 to September 2021.

Yariv also took a sabbatical in 2019 during the process of relocating from San Francisco to Seattle and was open to new opportunities.

Before joining AWS, Yariv held various roles at Cisco. Yariv worked as an Engineering Manager from October 2016 to December 2018 and as a Principal Software Engineer from July 2013 to October 2016. Their responsibilities at Cisco included creating powerful security solutions and enabling seamless connectivity across devices.

Yariv also had a sabbatical from November 2010 to June 2013.

Earlier in their career, Yariv worked at Citrix Systems as a Senior Software Development Engineer from January 2008 to November 2010, where they developed the Application Firewall component and researched emerging security threats.

Yariv also worked at Finjan Software, where they held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer, Senior Customer Support Engineer and Product Manager, and QA Team Leader. During their time at Finjan Software, Yariv led integration projects, developed server and client-side web management applications, and assumed full R&D responsibilities for fixing bugs and adding new features to web protection products.

Throughout their career, Yariv has demonstrated expertise in software development, engineering management, and security solutions.

Yariv Keinan obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, where they studied from 1999 to 2002.
