Georg Schmidt-Holzmann

Head of Construction Management at Fastned

Georg Schmidt-Holzmann has extensive work experience, starting with an internship at Felix Böttcher GmbH & Co. KG in 2005. Georg later interned at Alfred H. Schütte GmbH & Co. KG in 2006. In 2010, Georg completed an internship and diploma thesis at Audi AG. In 2012, they joined AGCO International GmbH as an International Trainee in Purchasing & Materials EAME, and later held roles as a Supplier Cost Analyst and Supplier Cost Analysis (SCA) Manager. From 2018 onwards, Georg has been working at Fastned as the Head of Construction Management.

Georg Schmidt-Holzmann's education history begins in 2005, when they enrolled at the Technical University of Munich. Georg studied Mechatronik und Informationstechnik and completed their diploma in 2010, which is equivalent to a Master's degree.

During their time at the Technical University of Munich, Georg had the opportunity to study abroad at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2008-2009. Georg focused on Mechatronik, Robotik und Automatisierungstechnik during this exchange year.

In 2011-2012, Georg pursued French as a foreign Language at the Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.

Georg continued their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at INSEAD from 2017 to 2018. Georg was part of the Class of 18J.

Additionally, Georg has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills outside of formal education. In 2009, they completed a certification in Projektmanagement für Ingenieure from Career Tools. In 2010, they obtained the certification for Mit Argumentation Hürden überwinden from VDI Wissensforum GmbH. In 2012, they completed the Anwendertraining für Perfect ProCalc certification from Perfect Costing Solutions GmbH. Lastly, in 2016, they obtained the Negotiation Roleplay - Operation Procurement certification from Best Practice Institute GmbH.
