Mike Sonnenberg

Mike Sonnenberg has significant experience in quality control and leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry. Mike currently holds the position of Vice President, Quality Control at Fate Therapeutics Inc. Prior to this, they served as an Executive Director at the same company. Before joining Fate Therapeutics Inc, they worked as a Senior Director Quality Control at Gilead Sciences and held positions of Senior Director and Director of Quality Control at Kite Pharma. Mike also worked as the Director of Quality Control at AstraZeneca. Earlier in their career, at Amgen, they held the positions of Director and Senior Manager, where they had responsibilities in various aspects of quality control including microbiology, chromatography, immunoassay, bioassay, raw material testing, and method validations.

Mike Sonnenberg received a Master of Science degree in Microbiology, General from Colorado State University, where they studied from 1988 to 1996.
