Stacey Moreno

Stacey Moreno is a highly experienced professional in assay development, currently serving as the Manager of Assay Development at Fate Therapeutics Inc since September 2015. In this role, Stacey leads a team in developing assays for product/process characterization and release, supporting FDA filings and clinical trials. Prior to this position, Stacey held roles as an Associate Scientist in both Assay Development and Flow Cytometry at Fate Therapeutics Inc and The Scripps Research Institute, respectively, where key contributions included the development of assays for iPSC-derived cell therapy products and protocols for studying gene expression and phagocytic activity. Additionally, Stacey has consulted for EyeCyte, Inc., focusing on assays for cell-based therapies. Stacey holds a BS in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from UC San Diego and an MS in Regulatory Affairs from San Diego State University.
