Engineering Director at Fatshark

Grigoris Nikiforakis started their work experience in 2012 at Curve Studios as a Software Engineer. Grigoris then moved on to Starbreeze Studios in 2016, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this position, they focused on Payday 2 and consoles, optimizing the pipeline for faster development and directing non-technical departments and external studios. Grigoris released three expansions on PS4/XB1 during their time at Starbreeze. Currently, they are working at Fatshark AB as an Engineering Director. Their responsibilities include ensuring that the company's systems support their current and future development needs, improving technical workflows, and coordinating with non-technical departments to align goals and deliverables.

Grigoris Nikiforakis completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with their undergraduate studies in Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete. Grigoris pursued this degree from 2003 to 2010, earning a Greek Diploma (BEng + MEng) upon graduation. Following this, they joined Newcastle University in 2011 to further their education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Games Engineering by the end of 2012.
