Benjamin Doup

Benjamin Doup is a highly experienced engineer specializing in chemical process safety, currently serving as Lead Engineer and Manager of Thermal Hazards/Reaction Calorimetry at Fauske & Associates since October 2014. Doup's expertise includes designing process safety equipment and developing testing procedures to assess runaway reactions, employing methodologies such as DIERS. Prior experience includes a Graduate Fellowship at The Ohio State University focused on two-phase flow research and internships at TerraPower and the Gas Technology Institute, where Doup worked on reactor monitoring and gas delivery testing. Doup holds a PhD and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering, as well as a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, all obtained from The Ohio State University.
