May Koay

May Koay has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. In 2016, they worked as an Interior Architect at Seshan Design Sdn Bhd where they led the design for multiple F&B outlets, collaborated with various professionals, and assisted in generating tender and construction drawings. May also led a team for an art installation in Australia. In 2019, May joined JO Architects Sdn Bhd as a Project Architect, where they conducted a feasibility study for a residential development and presented design options to clients. May was later promoted to Senior Project Architect and led a team for a bungalow project. In 2022, May joined Fave as a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX).

May Koay completed their education history as follows:

From 2017 to 2019, they attended Newcastle University, where they pursued a Master of Architecture - MArch degree, specializing in Architecture.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they studied at Taylor's University, earning a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture degree.

In 2013, May attended Sunway College and completed a Foundation degree, specifically the Monash University Foundation Year program.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following:

- In April 2023, May received a certification in "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes" from Google.

- In March 2023, they obtained a certification in "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Google.

- In February 2023, they completed the "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" certification program offered by Google.

- On the same note, they earned the "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2023.
