Pei Yi Choo

Pei Yi Choo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Pei Yi began their career as an Emergency Medical Technician at Geneseo Fire Department, where they effectively communicated with patients and collaborated with team members to optimize their medical care. Pei Yi then worked as an Internet Entrepreneur, building and managing an online store and achieving Top Rated Seller status.

Pei Yi then transitioned to the field of chemistry, working as a Chemistry Lab Instructor and Undergraduate Research Assistant at SUNY Geneseo. In these roles, they conducted and led laboratory sessions, advised students on optimizing lab time, and synthesized chemicals for research purposes.

Pei Yi later joined Shopee, where they served as a Warehouse Business Strategy (WBS) Associate, improving warehouse order performance, setting up comprehensive reporting systems, and enhancing the customer experience. Pei Yi also worked as a Business Development Consultant, managing sellers and providing strategic advice to maximize sales growth.

Pei Yi then joined ZALORA Group as a Product Executive, leading integration efforts with local banks and e-wallets to diversify payment acceptance and reduce fraudulent activity. At Mindvalley, they worked as a Junior Product Manager, establishing processes to increase the quality of tech deliverables and defining optimization roadmaps for internal tools.

Currently, Pei Yi is working at Fave, first as a Product Manager for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), where they defined the product vision and roadmap, and then as a Product Manager for the Core Consumer team. In this role, they led user research, designed user onboarding journeys, and identified pain points and opportunities in the search funnel experience.

Throughout their career, Pei Yi has showcased their strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as their ability to drive growth and improve user experiences in various industries.

Pei Yi Choo attended SUNY Geneseo from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Chemistry.
