Venita Gresham Watson

Venita Gresham Watson has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 10 years. Venita began their career in 2010 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research, where they were responsible for the design, optimization, and execution of high-throughput screens for epigenetic targets for MLL-rearranged leukemia. In 2013, they joined Constellation Pharmaceuticals as a Research Scientist. Venita then moved to FORMA Therapeutics, Inc. in 2016, where they held the same role. In 2018, Venita joined KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. as a Principal Scientist. In 2020, they were hired at Epizyme, also as a Principal Scientist. Most recently, in 2021, Venita was appointed as the Associate Director at Faze Medicines.

Venita Gresham Watson received their BS in Chemistry from Hollins University in 2003, and their PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.
