Dr. Abdalhadi Alijla

Dr. Abdalhadi Alijla is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in various academic and research institutions, currently serving as a Senior Research Officer at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since April 2022 and an Associate Researcher at both The Center for Social Sciences Research and Action and the Varieties of Democracy Institute. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Orient-Institut Beirut and Senior Researcher at the European Commission, contributing to the Maddad Fund for the Syria Crisis. Dr. Alijla has also held positions at Transparency International and Adyan Foundation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Political Studies from Università degli Studi di Milano, an MA in Public Administration from Zeppelin University, and additional degrees in Cultural Studies and Systems Engineering.
