Mila Ceban

Mila Ceban is a Senior Specialist in Governance at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since October 2022, focusing on portfolio development and global partnerships related to governance, human rights, and rule of law reform in fragile contexts. Previously, as a Policy Officer at the European External Action Service from September 2019 to August 2022, Mila Ceban oversaw the EU Advisory Mission in Ukraine, facilitating civilian security sector reform. Mila Ceban also served as a Project Manager and Desk Officer at the Folke Bernadotte Academy from 2014 to 2019, leading projects on local governance and rule of law in Ukraine. Prior experience includes roles as a Business Development Officer at the Swedish Institute for Public Administration and a Project Officer at the EADI European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes. Mila Ceban's career began as a Business Development Manager at European Management Solutions from 2007 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Political Science from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova.
