Xuan Che is a statistician with extensive experience in data analysis and management, currently working at the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) since June 2022, focusing on leveraging data to enhance disaster risk reduction and support Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, Xuan Che worked at the United Nations from January 2015 to May 2022, specializing in climate change data, environmental statistics, and overseeing statistical development for energy and agriculture in Africa. Prior experience includes a role as a statistician at the National Institutes of Health, utilizing machine learning and natural language processing to enhance the Social Security Administration's Disabilities Insurance applications, as well as serving as a photographer at Getty Images.
