Caitlin Cody

Caitlin Cody has a diverse and extensive work experience in the advertising and strategic planning industry. Caitlin started their career as a Brand Planning Intern at Young & Rubicam Chicago in 2005. Caitlin then worked as an Account Management Intern at Euro RSCG Chicago in 2006. Caitlin also served as an Application Reader at Kenyon College in 2006.

Moving forward, Caitlin joined Draftfcb in 2008 as a Strategic Planner. During their time there, they worked on various campaigns and projects for clients such as Kmart, Del Monte Pet Products, and the Pet Adoption account. Caitlin was promoted to Associate Strategic Planner before leaving the company in 2010.

After that, Caitlin joined The Martin Agency, where they worked as a Strategic Planning Intern in 2007. Caitlin returned to the agency in 2010 as a Senior Strategic Planner and later became a Strategic Planner. Caitlin left The Martin Agency in 2012.

In 2012, Caitlin joined Digitas North America, where they held several roles over a span of 11 years. Caitlin started as an Associate Director of Creative Strategy and was promoted to VP / Director and then VP / Group Director in the same department. In 2021, they became the SVP of Brand Strategy, and in 2022, they took on the role of Co-Lead of Women@Digitas Chicago. Caitlin left Digitas in 2023.

Caitlin also had a brief stint at BBH USA in 2022 as the Head of Planning (interim). Caitlin'sresponsibilities included department management, new business, and client-facing leadership.

Caitlin joined Chicago Portfolio School as an Instructor in 2021 and taught until 2022.

Currently, Caitlin Cody is working at FCB Chicago as the EVP, Group Director of Strategic Planning.

Caitlin Cody completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree from VCU Brandcenter, specializing in Advertising with a focus on Communications Strategy, from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in Drama from Kenyon College, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Caitlin's high school education took place at New Trier Township High School Winnetka from 1997 to 2001, but no specific degree or field of study is provided in this regard.

In terms of additional certifications, Caitlin Cody has obtained the certification of Executive Leader Coach / Founding Member from Beyond Barriers in August 2022. Caitlin has also completed a Master Class at Hyper Island, though the specific date of completion is not provided.
