Chris Gilbert

Chris Gilbert is an accomplished journalist and broadcaster with extensive experience in both radio and television. Currently serving as a Japan Correspondent for Feature Story News and RNZ since October 2022, Chris covers Japan's current affairs for several major international networks. Previous roles include News Presenter and Storyteller for Corus Entertainment's "The International Dispatch," Content Producer at 980 CKNW, and Podcasting Storyteller at Camp Winnebago. Chris also held positions such as Executive Producer for Fun Radio from Japan and Contributing Journalist for Monocle. With a strong educational background in Broadcast Communications from the New Zealand Broadcasting School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Media Studies from Victoria University of Wellington, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the media landscape.
