Alfred Seivold

Senior Deputy Director (acting)

Alfred Seivold has been a distinguished professional at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since May 1992, currently serving as the Acting Senior Deputy Director and previously as Deputy Director of Complex Institution Supervision Resolution within the Institution Risk Branch. Alfred oversees a team responsible for supervision and resolution planning for major banking entities, including global systemically important banks. As a corporate expert, Alfred contributes to risk analysis and implements regulatory directives under the Dodd Frank Act. Additionally, Alfred has been a key member of various working groups at the Bank for International Settlements, focusing on supervisory coordination and operational resilience in financial institutions. Alfred's career began as a Credit Analyst with USDA Rural Development, following a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Baltimore and advanced education from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
