Vani Marata

Vani Marata, PMP, CSM, currently serves as a Computer Scientist and Team Lead at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since July 2021. Vani has over two decades of experience in software engineering and technology roles, having previously held positions such as Principal Engineer at Xpand Corporation from October 2005 to June 2021, and Senior Software Engineer at Prudent Technology and Jamaica National Building Society. Vani began a career in programming as a Programmer Analyst at Al Nadeem Information Technology in Bahrain and has also worked as a Research Fellow at the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory. Vani holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Physics from Osmania University.
