Joynette M. Torres Santos

Joynette M. Torres Santos is a skilled legal and program specialist with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as an IHP Helpdesk Program Specialist at FEMA since January 2018, Joynette provides expertise in disaster assistance policies and supports various recovery operations. In addition to this role, Joynette has been a program specialist and lawyer at Abogada since December 2014 and previously held positions as a lawyer with The Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies and as a legal counsel in civil, criminal, and juvenile matters. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Chapter PUCPR Ponce and as Presidenta of Asociación de Estudiantes de Derecho Internacional AEDI. Additional experience includes legal internships and a position as a Judicial Law Clerk. Joynette holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Cayey.
