Kenyatta Collins

Kenyatta Collins is an experienced professional in federal relations and legislative operations, currently serving as the Congressional Liaison Specialist for FEMA since November 2024. Prior to this role, Kenyatta held positions at the Democratic National Committee as Deputy Director of State Operations and at the City of New Orleans, where responsibilities included Director of Federal Relations, Innovation Analyst, and Neighborhood Liaison. Kenyatta's background includes significant roles in the U.S. House of Representatives, encompassing positions such as Subcommittee Clerk, Legislative Assistant, and Staff Assistant focused on homeland security and oversight. Additionally, Kenyatta was an Emerging Leader Intern at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and served as an Assessment Consultant at Louisiana State University. Kenyatta earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Louisiana State University in December 2018.
