Sheryl L. Haile

Sheryl L. Haile, PhD, LPC, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor at FEMA since November 2023. Prior to this role, Sheryl was the Director of the Graduate Psychology Program and Associate Professor at the University of Saint Mary from October 2022 to November 2023 and served as Chief Program Officer at City Union Mission from October 2020 to October 2022. Sheryl's extensive experience in academia includes roles at the College of the Ozarks as both Director of Base Camp/First-year Experience and Professor of Psychology from June 2001 to December 2020. Additional clinical experience includes work as an Outpatient Trauma Therapist at Faith Community Health Clinic, Individual and Family Therapist at Today's Family, and various therapeutic positions in other institutions. Sheryl holds a PhD in Psychology with a focus on Sport Psychology from Capella University, a Master of Education in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University.
