Walt Ziegler

Walt Ziegler possesses extensive experience in architecture and emergency management, currently serving as Section Chief of the Technical Services Branch at FEMA since August 2017. Previous roles include Principal at SJR Architect (February 2012 - August 2017), Owner of Sun Architecture, LLC (2006 - 2012), Project Architect at Asher Associates Architects (2003 - 2005), and Project Architect at Kitchen and Associates (1999 - 2004). Walt also worked as a Project Designer at Musgnug Cogan Architects (1999 - 2000) and completed internships at GSGSBH (1992 - 1994) and The Hillier Group (1988 - 1991). Walt Ziegler earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Art from Kent State University (1997 - 1998) and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Sociology from the same institution (1984 - 1991). Prior education includes attending Lawrenceville High School (1980 - 1984).
