Andrew Tamayo

Andrew Tamayo is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Attorney-Advisor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since December 2015. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from December 2013 to November 2015. Andrew's legal experience also includes serving as a Law Clerk for Judge David Sentelle at the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Judge Karon Bowdre at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Additional legal training includes summer associate positions at Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, Ropes & Gray LLP, and Wells Fargo, as well as a summer internship at Lord Corporation. Andrew holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
