Carolyn Templeton

Carolyn Templeton serves as the Director of Strategic Operations and Special Projects at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), where responsibilities include overseeing administrative functions, coordinating between leadership and program offices, and developing policy. With extensive experience at FERC, Carolyn has held positions such as Detailee in the Office of External Affairs, where outreach efforts to various governmental and public entities were a primary focus, and Energy Industry Analyst, where recommendations were developed to address security threats to energy facilities. Earlier roles include Environmental Biologist within the Office of Energy Projects and as an Adjunct Professor at Carroll Community College, teaching anatomy and physiology. Prior experience also includes analyzing foreign weapons and technologies at the Central Intelligence Agency. Carolyn holds a Master of Science in Geoenvironmental Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
