Zachary Harris

Zachary Harris is an experienced energy industry analyst currently employed at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since July 2021. Previously, Zachary worked as a consultant at MP & Associates, advising on a biogas power plant project in Southern Serbia, and as a financial analyst for the New York City Council, supporting budget negotiations and monitoring expenditures for various city agencies. Additional experience includes serving as an advisor to the Government of Serbia with UNDP, promoting investment in the automotive sector, and working as an industry research analyst at IBISWorld, focusing on trends in energy and utilities. Zachary's earlier roles included research assistant positions at the Brookings Institution and internships at Fox International Channels, Think Tank Populari, and Bank of America. Zachary holds a Master of Arts in Russian and Eurasian Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Eastern European Studies from Middlebury College.
