Lucas Cain

Lucas Cain serves as a Researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since July 2022. Previously, Lucas held various leadership and research roles, including Vice President at The Phi Beta Kappa Society and Director of Ambassadors and Mentors for UNC Honors. Lucas's extensive experience includes multiple research assistant positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on topics such as racial disparities in the death penalty, environmental justice, and school choice mechanisms. Engaging with organizations like Musical Empowerment as the Leadership Team- Teacher Relations Chair, Lucas managed over 150 teachers while developing a strong foundation in education and community engagement. Lucas completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2022.
