Sean Renaghan

Sean Renaghan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal and compliance roles. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond since April 2022, Sean previously held positions at Capital One, including Compliance Advisor for Human Resources and Corporate Functions and Regulatory Change Advisor for Enterprise Services from January 2018 to March 2022. Prior to Capital One, experience as Senior Counsel and Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor & Employment Law Division at the New York City Law Department from September 2013 to January 2018 was gained. Sean's career began at General Electric as part of the Financial Management Program from July 2008 to July 2010. Sean earned a JD from William & Mary Law School and a BS in Management with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Boston College.
