Paul Smith's work experience includes roles at May Company as an Accounting & Financial Analysis, Fleet Financial Services as a Vice President handling mutual holdings, Manning & Napier Advisors as Senior Vice President Operations, Technology & Administration overseeing various operational and administrative functions, and currently as Head of Global Investment Operations at Federated Hermes.

Paul Smith attended Virginia Tech from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a BA in Economics. Paul then went on to the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Marketing & Finance.
