Irene N.

Irene N. has a diverse range of work experience in science policy, project management, and higher education and workforce. From 2023, they have been working as an Associate Director of Science Policy at the Federation of American Scientists. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2023, they served as a Senior Project Manager at the Urban Institute, where they managed operational and financial activities for the Center on Education Data and Policy. Irene also supported the Center VP in identifying operational inefficiencies and financial obstacles. From 2015 to 2020, Irene held various roles at the National Academy of Sciences, including Associate Program Officer, Research Associate, and Senior Program Assistant. In 2014, they interned at the U.S. House of Representatives in the offices of Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
