Carissa Romano

Carissa Romano has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Carissa began their career in 2006 at Dr Guida, Savino LLP as Chief PA- Primary Care. In 2010, they worked as a Physician Assistant at Pain Management. From 2006 to 2017, they were also employed at Touro College as a Clinical Coordinator. In 2012, Carissa became the Medical Director and President of NRCMEtrainers.com, an online training program. Since 2014, they have been working at the Federation of Organizations holding various roles such as Director of Integrated Care, Psychiatry Physician Assistant, Integrated Primary Care-Behavioral Health Care Clinician, and Physician Assistant- Medical Team Director. Their responsibilities at Federation of Organizations included providing medical oversight, supervision, and coordination of care for Medicaid recipients.

Carissa Romano has a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University, which they earned from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they studied Neuroscience/Premed at the University of Delaware from 2001 to 2003. Carissa later pursued a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they have also completed a DPA degree at the City University of Los Angeles.
