Carmen Urrunaga, MS, RDN, LDN has a diverse work experience in the field of nutrition and healthcare. Their most recent role is as the Director of Health and Wellness at Feeding South Florida®. Prior to that, they served as the President of Well Mind and Body Consultants.

Carmen has extensive experience in healthcare facilities, starting in 1997 when they worked at the South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center as the Chief Clinical Dietitian. Carmen then became the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Kendall Regional Medical Center, where they worked until 2006.

From 2006 to 2014, Carmen served as the Director of Nutrition Services at Nutrio, LLC. During their time at the company, they effectively managed and supervised the nutrition services department.

Additionally, Carmen has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University in 1999, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students. Carmen also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the National Policy & Resource Center from 1995 to 1996.

Additionally, Carmen holds a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management, which was awarded by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
