Laura Buhler

Partner & Head of Community at Felicis Ventures

Laura is a Partner at Felicis and leads the community. In this role, Laura helps to unlock the Felicis community as a value driver in the founders' success.

Prior to joining Felicis, Laura was CEO of C100, a global community of Canadian technology entrepreneurs, operators, and investors. Under her leadership, C100 launched and scaled its core membership product from a local Silicon Valley community to a membership spanning 35 cities globally, boasting some of the most influential Canadians in technology and venture capital today. Previously, Laura previously held roles in Business Development, Growth & Marketing, and Strategy at Gilt Groupe (acquired by HBC), a growth-stage e-commerce startup in New York City. In her early career, Laura was a Project Manager at the World Economic Forum in New York, and a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in New York and in Canada.

She is also a Board Director of Venture for Canada, a national charity that develops entrepreneurial leadership skills through training and supporting youth to work at startups and innovative small businesses. Laura serves on the Advisory Board for the Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership (CIEL) at her alma mater, the University of Calgary.
