Guillermo Azqueta

Guillermo Azqueta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Guillermo'smost recent position was as the Co-Founder and COO of Fellow Funders, a role they have held since June 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Managing Partner at Belerofonte Capital starting in June 2017.

Before transitioning to the financial sector, Guillermo worked at Santander Corporate Banking as a Client Relationship Manager from May 2013 to May 2016. Guillermo then moved to Banesto, where they held multiple roles including Fixed Income Sales and Structured Retail Products Sales Manager from June 2008 to May 2013.

Guillermo began their career at Banesto Factoring as a Customer Manager from November 2005 to June 2008. Guillermo then joined Banesto, S.A. as an Accounts Manager, where they were responsible for managing customer relationships and developing tailored solutions within the corporate banking sector.

Prior to their banking roles, Guillermo gained experience abroad at Repsol International Finance in the Netherlands, working as a Financial Accountant from November 2003 to October 2004. Guillermo also worked at the Spanish Trade Council in Sweden as a Foreign Trade Junior Consultant from October 2002 to September 2003.

Guillermo started their career as a Trainee at Bankinter, specifically in the Investment Funds department from July 2001 to November 2001, where they gained knowledge in interest rates and futures valuation.

Guillermo Azqueta attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. In 2005, they completed a course on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros. In 2009, Guillermo Azqueta pursued a Markets and Treasury Specialization Course at IEB.
