Lars Giere

Lars Giere has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Lars is currently the Co-Founder & Managing Director at felmo GmbH since November 2019. Prior to that, Lars worked at eBay as the Global Head of Financing eCG (Business Owner) from December 2018 to December 2019.

Prior to eBay, Lars held various roles at mobile.de GmbH from 2012 to 2019, including Head of Incubation and Financing, Head of C2B (Business Owner), Senior Product Manager/Teamlead Search & Demand (Desktop & Mobile), and Product Manager/Product Owner. At mobile.de GmbH, Lars successfully built and scaled new business models, utilizing qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, progressive product development approaches, and efficient organizational design.

Before their tenure at mobile.de GmbH, Lars worked as a Product Manager/Product Owner at ImmobilienScout24 from January 2011 to August 2012 and as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Weierstraß-Institut für Angewandte Analysis und Stochastik from May 2010 to December 2010. Overall, Lars Giere has demonstrated a strong track record in business development, product management, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Lars Giere completed their education at Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they pursued a Dimplom degree in Mathematik mit Studienrichtung Informatik from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained a certification in MIT Fintech: Future Commerce online course from MIT Experimental Learning in April 2017.
