Erica Fischer

Erica Fischer has had a long and varied career in software engineering. Erica began their career in 2001 as a Senior Software Engineer at Danger, followed by a role as a Build and Release Engineer at eazel. In 2005, they joined Google as a Software Engineer and was a member of the Android team, writing the bidirectional styled text editing and display system in the Android user interface toolkit. In 2012, they became an Artist in Residence at The Exploratorium, followed by a role as a Software Engineer and Data Artist at Mapbox in 2013. Most recently, they have held roles as a Staff Software Engineer at Density since 2022 and a Senior Software Engineer at Felt since 2022.

Erica Fischer attended the University of Chicago from 1991 to 1995, where they earned an A.B. in Linguistics.
