Raj Mohanty

Raj Mohanty began their career in 1960 as a Research Scientist at NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center. Raj then moved to the California Institute of Technology where they held the role of Postdoctoral Research Faculty. In 2001, they joined Boston University as a Professor. In 2007, they founded two companies, Sand9 and Ninth Sense, Inc. At Sand9, they dedicated himself to the design of components that would improve the performance and capabilities of wireless devices, while at Ninth Sense, Inc. they developed point-of-care disease management of breast cancer. In 2017, they founded FemtoDx.

Raj Mohanty attended the University of Maryland, Caltech for Nanotechnology, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
